Jack White - "You Got Me Searching"

Following his excellent new album No Name, Jack White has shared a new b-side that sounds just as explosive as anything from his latest record.

Not that he needed it, but Jack White is almost hitting a return to form stride that many probably never expected. Sure, White has always been considered a generational talent and his investments in rock and roll can never be overstated, the man has done more to bring guitar music back into the fold than most and he's been able to do so while remaining earnestly true to his roots. Over the summer, he began to sneak copies of his new album into shopping bags at his own record store without any notice and without any cover art to indicate that it was in fact a new album from Jack White. When he officially released the album in August, critics immediately hailed it as one of his best solo records to date. Now, after playing surprise pop-up shows across the country for the past few months, he's announced a proper tour in support of this new record and shared a new tune as well. "You Got Me Searching" wastes no time picking up that garage rock venom and injecting straight into the veins (or ears, I guess) of his fans. It's an electrifying track that features some dirty blues stomps and some absolutely killer guitar shredding. To put it simply, it fucking rocks! None of this should be a surprise as White has forever been known as a god with his battle axe, but to see him crank out these high caliber tunes is just another reminder that there really isn't anyone else of his fame or stature delivering hits quite like this. Even on a b-side, Jack White does it better than most.

"You Got Me Searching" is out now digitally and out November 22 physically.
