Ducks Ltd. - "Grim Symmetry"

Ducks Ltd. continue their hot streak with another brand new song.

Earlier this year, the jangle-pop duo Ducks Ltd. released their great sophomore album Harm's Way. It was the follow-up to 2021's Modern Fiction. A few months later, they dropped the tune "When You're Outside" which was an outtake from their most recent record. Now, they're back again and this time they're sharing a new song called "Grim Symmetry" that was actually written during the sessions from Modern Fiction. Regardless of when it was recorded, the track is another bright and bubbly guitar-pop jam that bursts with groovy melodies. When talking bout the song, singer/guitarist Tom McGreevy said:

We wrote it early on in the Modern Fiction writing process, and the demo was a favorite among the people we shared those with, but we didn't quite get it right when we tried to record it for that album. We always liked it though, so we kept it around and tried it again when we were tracking Harm's Way. It didn't end up quite fitting the vibe of the album, but we did manage to get it to where we wanted it to be, so it’s exciting to finally share it.

The new song is out now and features backing vocals from Julia Steiner of Ratboys and Margaret McCarthy of Moontype.
