The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have shared the second single from their forthcoming record which is due in September.
The long awaited comeback of garage-rock icons the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is getting closer and today the band have shared their new track, "Burning," which feels more inline with their dance-punk styles of It's Blitz! and less of the scuzzy moments from their still fantastic debut. Starting off with clunking piano, Karen O's mesmerizing vocals crystalize and the band unleashes disco-inspired heat that's ready to be your soundtrack as you tear up the dance floor. While "Spitting Off the Edge of the World" oozed elegance and sparkled with studio wonder, this one takes it up a notch, sounding equally as spotless and polished, but with more of a bang that will surely set off a spark in the crowd when they play it live. When the drop hits, it feels like the true return-to-form of the band that many long time fans have hoped for after years away and this one proves the band still has an edge and can hit us with a banger just when we least expect it.
