Glenn Donaldson keeps it coming and has a new, mini-LP out this week!
Giving new meaning to the age-old phrase "sleep when you're dead," Glenn Donaldson has announced yet another release as the Reds, Pinks and Purples. Due this coming Friday, Still Clouds at Noon is a Bandcamp-only mini-LP and along with the announcement, he's shared the first track. "All Night" is a longer, slowed down tune that takes on more of a gloomy side rather than his typical, bright guitar-pop. The droning instrumental outro moves as a glacial pace, basking in its own repeated rhythms that reinforce it's overall tone of sorrow. There are sparkling touches throughout which Donaldson continues to use in his songwriting craftsmanship bringing his fingerprints to each track for distinct sonic moments that boost the vibe and add a touch of wonder.
Still Clouds at Noon is out July 29, 2022.
