El-P and Killer Mike are back with the first taste of their long-awaited record, Run the Jewels 4.
While there's still no word on an official release date for the new album, El-P took to Instagram on Sunday to share one of the tracks from the duo's upcoming record. Since teaming up nearly a decade ago, Run the Jewels have exploded on the scene, playing countless shows in support of their critically acclaimed records and on "Yankee and the Brave" off their first official release in four years, Mike and El sound as cool, calm, and ready to raise hell as ever before. Trading rhymes over a stunting Trip-Hop beat almost reminiscent of Portishead's "Cowboys," it's not a jaw-dropping single, but rather a smart and meditative return from two legends basking in their primes.
