FKA twigs has announced her follow-up to 2014's impressive LP1. Her sophomore record is titled MAGDALENE and it's out on October 25 via Yung Turks.
Following the exquisite lead single "cellophane," twigs has returned with a bit of a left-turn on her latest track and takes listeners on more of a hairpin twist than the bold, yet stripped-down first offering. "holy terrain" finds the singer doing what she does best over a stuttering trap beat with vocal assistance from Future making for one of her hottest collaborations to date (she also tapped Skrillex and Jack Antonoff for help on production). It's another great move in the artist's still early career and hints at the breadth of work that the new album possess.
