Weyes Blood has announced a new album, Titanic Rising, out April 5 via Sub Pop. It follows her 2016 album Front Row Seat to Earth and 2017's Myths 002 EP which she released with Ariel Pink.
The album announcement comes with a new single, "Everyday," which is a sultry, powerful, pop ballad full of life. In a press release, the singer describes the new album as “the Kinks meet WWII or Bob Seger meets Enya" and "as concept-album as it may sound, it’s also a devoted exercise in realism, albeit occasionally magical." This track certainly pulls from a magical realm and sparkles with promise.
