Ryan Adams recently shared the tracks "Doylestown Girl" and "Manchester" via radio exclusives, "Fuck The Rain" is the first proper single from Big Colors, the first of his three planned releases in 2019.
Bright acoustic guitars, hushed vocals, and lyrics that will stick in your head. Ryan Adams has formula down to a science at this point and even his least enticing, his tracks still fill a void. "Flowers for brains / permanent sunshine" isn't his most compelling hook to date and a shimmering solo from John Mayer seems a bit odd, but it somehow all fits and makes for a soothing track that scratches the alt-country itch like only he can.
