The Raconteurs are back! The supergroup have shared their first new material in over a decade and are set to release a new album in 2019.
"Sunday Driver" and "Now That You're Gone" are two blues-rock tracks that sound bold and powerful, just like you'd expect from the veteran group. "Sunday Driver" kicks off with a charged-up rhythm and fuel-injected riffs that are strong and mighty while "Now That You're Gone" features awesome harmonies from White and Brendan Benson over a more pulsating beat, waltzing pianos, and a thumping rhythm that gets coiled-up in a wicked, electrifying guitar solo. Jack White hasn't sounded this alive in a long time and it's wonderful to hear these gentlemen surrounding him for an additional thrust of energy. The tracks are an incredibly welcome return from this powerhouse and an infectious tease at what they have in store for the future.
