In December 2017, Neil Young released his thirty-ninth studio album, The Visitor. He's now shared a video for album highlight "Almost Always."
Lifting heavily from Neil's early 90's classic "Unknown Legend," "Almost Always" is a slow jam that fits perfectly amongst Young's iconic discography. It's got an acoustic, country tinge and that immediately recognizable harmonica that Neil's relied on for decades. It's a simple tune that recalls some of Neil's best work (even without recycling such an iconic riff). Backed by The Promise of the Real (featuring two of Willie Nelson's children), Neil has continued to add depth to his illustrious career that somehow, magnificently never seems to fade away.
