Screaming Females have been unleashing top-notch guitar rock long before the days when women started to rule rock and roll, but in what seems like a banner year, the band has returned with a great new single. "Black Moon" is everything that makes the band great, from Marissa Paternoster's stunning guitar skills to the lock-step rhythm section that somehow supports her raw shredding capabilities. Released a week ago as an exclusive 7" in their hometown of New Brunswick, NJ, the song is now available for streaming and hopefully a sign of more greatness on the way.
