Jessy Lanza has announced her new record. It's called Oh No, was inspired by Yellow Magic Orchestra, and is out in May via Hyperdub.
Jessy Lanza has been on a slow and steady rise over the past few years. She gained great attention with an appearance on Caribou's fantastic Our Love and provided support on his tour in 2013. Last year, she dropped the great footwork track "Never Show Your Love" featuring DJ Spinn and Taso. Now, with Oh No on the horizon, her latest "It Means I Love You", is another step forward, again highlighting her unique and focused sound.
