Beach House are back with the spaced-out new single, "Sparks", a bleary twisted gem off their new record Depression Cherry.
On "Sparks", Beach House embark on new ground with wildly distorted guitars making this the closest they've ever sounded to full-on shoegaze. Bleeding, twisted melodies continue to wrap around Victoria's brilliant voice leaving the trademark Beach House sound in effect while still diverging into uncharted territory. "What comes after this momentary bliss" they asked on "Myth" from 2012's Bloom. "Sparks" is the answer beyond anyone's dreams.
